>Kodiak helicopter aircrew provides St. Paul children with aircraft tour

>

Petty Officer 3rd Class Chris Moore, aviation survival technician, poses with children and teachers from the St. Paul Head Start and Montessori Preschool Jan. 21, 2011, in St. Paul, Alaska.

A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak aircrew forward deployed to St. Paul had the opportunity to let children from the St. Paul Head Start and Montessori Preschool tour an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter.  This allowed the children and teachers to ask questions about being a Coast Guard aviator and experience first-hand the inside of a helicopter.

Two Air Station Kodiak helicopters and crews are forward deployed to St. Paul during the Opilio Crab fishery in order to safeguard the fishing fleet and provide a more rapid response should the need arise.
