>MUNRO Ship’s Journal – HS3 Blake Castillo

>Same patrol. New day. Not a lot changes in the day to day life here. The ship had a little excitement though. Yesterday we were directed to help a ship that was run aground. Our whole crew was tired from the rocky waves the night before and we came up on turbines for a short time in the morning. Actually, the weather was so bad yesterday that I handed out a lot of sea sick meds. As I went to sleep last night, I noticed the boat had a certain silence about it. That’s when I know the crew has felt a long day underway. Everyone is so tired that they just go to sleep early. And the sleepiness you get from the rocking of the waves just makes it that much easier to drift into sleep. This morning I saw a beautiful sunrise, hopefully the weather doesn’t go sour.
