>Coast Guard Cutter Alex Haley crew returns from 80-day patrol

>

The Alex Haley has been gone for 80 days and they were sorely missed by friends and loved ones but their crew has much to be proud of by performing well in the training and saving 28 lives! They returned to Kodiak Tuesday and will soon be headed to the Bering Sea.

Lt. j.g. Andrew Norberg and DC3 Dianna Pitts commented on their experiences at Tailored Ship Training Availability in Honolulu and the crew’s participation in the rescue of 28 Taiwanese fishermen 900 miles southwest of Hawaii Feb. 9, 2010.

Bravo Zulu!
