>Hi everyone,

Had an interesting discussion with a shipmate while cavorting around in the snow during our last Dutch Harbor port call. The ship was preparing to sail, and so many people were unhooking shore times, water lines, phone lines, etc. As what often happens with people and snow, it didn't take long before the snowballs started flying! My shipmate mentioned it was the most snow he had ever seen in one place during his entire life. It reminded me that one of the neatest things about MUNRO is that our crew is from all over the United States. While snow is commonplace to many of us, reliving it through the eyes of someone from an area where it's a rarity is such a joy. We have multiple crew members from Puerto Rico and one from Saipan – you can imagine what a thrill it was to her!

Very respectfully,
