Boating safety is essential before you take to the water this spring and summer season.  Always be prepared and ensure you wear a properly fitting life jacket, have an emergency position indicating radio beacon, bring flares along with extra water and food.  It’s important to file a float plan with family or friends and never boat under the influence.  If you follow these easy to follow tips, it will ensure you and your passengers will have a safe and successful boating experience.
