Petty Officer 3rd Class Vincent Windrich, a gunner’s mate with Coast Guard Sector Juneau, was recognized as the Sector Juneau Enlisted Person of the Quarter during a ceremony held at Coast Guard Station Juneau Wednesday.

A vote was placed to determine a Juneau-area EPOQ out of all those who won the honor at local units. Windrich was also given this award, as recognition for his hard work since arriving at the sector.

Along with going above and beyond in performing his work duties, Windrich is involved with the community. He participated in the volunteer Shop with a Cop Program, which involved taking a local youth shopping for family Christmas gifts.

Bravo Zulu to this exemplary Alaska Coast Guardsman!
